I met Esther at the start of the year when I had 6 months to get ready for my wedding. I introduced myself to her by explaining how much I hated exercise and I think she realised she had a tough case on her hands. From the very start Esther was encouraging and gauged both my Personal Training sessions and the Bootcamp classes to my ability. I'm not going to lie - I spent the first couple of weeks in pain as my body adjusted to activities it had never done before. But the results soon started to show and after 8 weeks I'd lost 30cm from my body - 10cm of which were from my waist alone! I was delighted and this spurred me on to keep going.
My wedding dress was ordered in two dress sizes lower than I had been wearing and when it arrived it had to be taken in! When the big day came I felt fantastic, the hard work had paid off and Esther came to watch me walk down the aisle - even though it was her birthday! I've continued training with Esther and I can honestly say I no longer 'hate' exercise. I feel so much healthier and can see the benefits in all aspects of my life. I'm now pregnant with my first baby and Esther is tailoring my sessions to work with all the challenges that pregnancy throws up. I can't thank Esther enough for all the help and support she has given me and I would highly recommend Transform Personal Training to anybody looking for a friendly and effective training regime.

I started using Transform Personal training after having my second child and being two dress sizes bigger than my pre-pregnancy size. Having never had a personal trainer before I needed to be convinced. I choose Esther as she clearly understood from the outset that I need my carbs, have a sweet tooth that needs satisfying and enjoy a drink or two! I really enjoyed the training environment at Transform, Esther is really friendly and fair in her approach, i felt like i could always be honest and she was firm when I needed her to be. The new boot camp classes and High intensity classes are going to for a brilliant add on to my existing regime.
I started with Esther at the end of Feb about 10 weeks post-partum with my second child, and after five months I have managed to return to my pre baby weight and have lost 64 cm! I'd put on 4 stone with this pregnancy and knew diet alone wasn't going to cut it. My baby was nearly 9lb and had destroyed my stomach muscles.
After 9 months of doing very little activity I felt weak and scared of exercise but with the baby Bootcamp class I was eased into the exercise but delighted at how quickly my fitness increased. After 4 weeks of baby Bootcamp I'd got a real taste for exercise and set a personal challenge to use my maternity leave to get fit and loose the weight. I started Personal Training with her and her bootcamps and the results came quick, I reached my pre pregnancy weight in June and my strength and fitness has increased phenomenally, I never thought I'd be doing full press ups or pull ups.
After having my second baby, I had resigned myself to always carrying that little bit extra baby weight. And I told myself I was ok with that but then I saw other mums around me losing weight and starting to look healthy and toned. This was down to their new personal trainer - Esther Farrington. I had a huge wedding coming up (not my own) and I really wanted to drop a couple of dress sizes. Yet, it wasn't so easy for me. I had suffered two bad pregnancies, the result of which was that I was struggling to walk, wasn't allowed to lift more than 4kg, was never to run again and should seek acupuncture - so the medical professionals told me. However, that's not what Esther Farrington said.
Esther doesn't believe in the word 'no'. Just, 'not yet'. The first step was a 12 week programme that saw me drop two dress sizes! Goal One! Another, 12 weeks and I had dropped another two dress sizes. Goal Two! This was, quite frankly, ridiculous to me! The weight dropped off: no, it wasn't easy; yes, I had to clean up my diet and exercise; yes, I had to be committed. Yet, I didn't have to do that all on my own. With Esther by my side, I not only dropped the weight and put on some muscle but I got something far more important that I wasn't expecting - confidence.
Esther showed me how to train, how to prep my meals, she took me to the gym so that I knew how to use the equipment and most importantly, not feel embarrassed or that I shouldn't be there. Nine months after joining Transform Personal Training, I could walk (never underestimate how important this is!), fit into the dress size I wanted, I felt empowered and inspired to do more. I could achieve...it was now 'yes, you can'. So, the goals changed. Could I do a HIIT session? Could I run 10k? Could I squat my own body weight? The answer is: yes! Why? Because Esther Farrington doesn't hear 'no, you cant'.' She sees the person, she listens to the goals and she makes you achieve it.
I wanted to recommend my personal trainer Esther Farrington. I contacted to Esther to help me lose my baby weight and having eaten my body weight in chocolate after having my second child, I had plenty to lose!?! I work over 55 hours a week, have two young children and a husband that works shifts making my ‘free time’ practically non existent. With all this in mind, Esther was incredibly supportive of my situation and helped me to fit in suitable training sessions week on week. This coupled with the nutritional advice she gave me both during and outside my training sessions have helped me drop two dress sizes in 8 weeks. I saw massive body changing results in six weeks. Believe me, Esther works me hard and I sweat…..A LOT…..but if you’re looking for a beach body for the summer or help to get back in shape Esther is your woman. Go!!!!
